Shank and jaw are made out of high quality carbon steel and thereafter heat-treated in state-of-the-art manufacturing environment. Accurately machined gripping teeth on jaw and straight shank provide firm grip without any damage. Jaw movement is very smooth and easy. Malleable cast iron housings are adequately proportioned to withstand severe stresses. Nut made out of high grade steel meant for adjustment is heat treated for long life and high strength. Nut is knurled so as to ensure quick and easy adjustment without causing any slippage. Handles are polished and smooth for better look and comfortable grip. Spare nut and jaw are easily available.
