SCREWDRIVERS (PHILLIP HEAD)

Phillip Head screwdriver, named after Henry F. Phillips, a U.S. businessman from Portland, Oregon and inventor of the Phillips-head screw and screwdriver. The importance of the crosshead screw design is its self-centering properties, useful on automated production lines. The blade tip is designed on state-of-the-art machinery so as to yield quality production. Handle design has been explained earlier.
